Getting married is so exciting, but it can also be extremely stressful. What should you expect when you arrive for your bridal appointment?
Arrival
When you walk in through our doors, you’ll be transported to a different place. You are the center of our attention. You will check in with our front desk staff and fill out a small form for your bridal consultant. After you are done, your consultant will have a private meeting with just you about what you’re looking for.
Meeting your Consultant
You may be taken to our couches or to our event service planning table to chat with your consultant about what your perfect dress looks like! Here are some questions you may be asked:
- What’s your venue?
- Is your wedding indoor or outdoor?
- Are there any pictures of dresses you like?
- What price point are you looking for?
- Which silhouette do you like?
If you have any questions or special requests, always ask your consultant! We are more than willing to help with any assistance you or your guests may need.
Walking through our Dresses
Your consultant will help point you towards certain dresses, but you and your party are free to walk around. Even if you have no idea what you’re looking for, you will probably end up gravitating toward certain dresses. *Our dress inventory changes based on our designers’ new collections.
Trying on the Wedding Dresses
What do you wear to a wedding dress appointment? We recommend wearing nude undergarments.
Some wedding dresses are meant to have a sheath and nude undergarments. In other words, if you wear something vibrant, you may be able to see it! We also encourage brides to remove their bras so they can feel the support of the wedding dress.
Of course, it is all up to you! Some brides like to bring socks, as you won’t be wearing shoes when trying on the dresses.
You found the dress! Now what?
This is the exciting part of the appointment. After you’ve done some paperwork and set up your payment with your consultant, you’re onto the exciting part! Take a picture with one of our signs and tag us on Instagram and Facebook to be featured! We have an “Instagram” wall that many guests use to take pictures. You can also use our wedding dresses as the background.
